On the side

Teaching
Contributing to education.
In the past I ran sessions on UX and design thinking with primary school children in the UK, introducing them to the idea that the things they use every day are designed by someone, for someone.
More recently I have been cooperating with the University of Milan, running workshops for bachelor and master students on user-centred design, UX and the design process.
Community
A festival for inclusion.
It brings local people, musicians, professionals and organisations together to celebrate families and diversity. I lend a hand with marketing, communications and coordination on the event.

A quieter, slower kind of design work than the digital day job, and one that taught me a lot about pacing and restraint. Raid of the Ratskull Rodents is something I am really proud of.
